The pandemic has taken its toll on most. If you think you alone have been hit hard, it'd be wise to reconsider. There are many out there, much more unfortunate than you. You have had pay-cuts, they have lost jobs.

People keep complaining that wearing a mask is quite inconvenient, since it makes breathing a bit laborious. That may be the case, but we can't deny its significant role in keeping us protected. It has other benefits too. Like, upon hearing a poor joke, you don't have to fake a smile anymore. What's even better is that the other person won't get offended by that either!
With the initiation of ‘Unlock 1.0’, shops and other commercial establishments (not limited to just essential goods anymore) are opening up all over the country. People are visiting shops, eateries, and street food stalls, all the while flouting safety protocols and physical distancing norms.
Big risk, I'd say, considering the current trend of rapid rise in positive cases and the corresponding state of health infrastructure! Even though the number of positive cases continues to increase in India at an alarming rate, people are abandoning the safety of their homes to venture out. Most of them are helpless, given their nature of work. If they don't, they are most likely to lose their livelihood options. Work-from-Home is, after all, meant only for the white-collar jobs. With the lockdown being gradually lifted, many offices are forcing employees to physically attend offices, or risk getting fired. Nice dilemma, isn't it? Which is more important: life or money?
Having said that, there's no excuse for flouting precautionary norms. Videos of people availing public transport services with complete disregard for social distancing norms have gone viral. Remember, prevention is better than cure any day. With the nationwide lockdown being lifted gradually, private vehicles are moving around freely once again. The usual traffic, unnecessary honking, and uncivil driving have made a strong comeback. Some of the street dogs couldn't be happier, getting the opportunity to chase cars and bikes again! After months!
Many activities have resumed already. Offices, shops, restaurants are slowly opening up. However, there are restrictions on large gatherings, be it social or religious. Not more than 50 guests are allowed for a wedding ceremony.
Since the deadly virus is here to stay for a while, continuing the use of mask is highly recommended. But this may have a dark side (which is actually lighter), especially if your job involves moving around a lot under the blazing sun!
India is lifting the lockdown gradually. Sooner or later, schools will resume too. Things similar to what's depicted here might happen. Teachers, beware!!!! And students, that's not cool at all.
With the nationwide lockdown being lifted gradually, people are coming out in large numbers. Many offices have started functioning, eateries have reopened, and transportation modes have begun operation. Since the deadly virus is here to stay for a while, people are advised not to be caught offguard. Mask, physical distancing, and sanitisation are key. This series tries to capture some unique, funny situations that may arise once human activities resume.
