We don't know why he did it. Perhaps out of depression. Or some other reason. But, whatever it is, he's gone!
Watched the movie 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy' last night. Again. Despite criticism, I find it a masterpiece!!! If Dibakar Banerjee ever thinks of making a sequel, whom would he cast? I don't think anyone would be able to do justice. What Sushant did to portray the iconic character (young sleuth, hungry and relentless in his pursuit for truth, with a spark of brilliance in his eyes, confident yet hesitant at the beginning of his career) was near-perfection. What will Yang Guang do now!!!

A truly fascinating character I came across, while gobbling the GRR Martin epic series "A Song of Ice and Fire".

Once I went to attend one of his morning sessions, without having breakfast. This was my usual drill, since I was always late for classes. He somehow sensed it, and asked me to go to the canteen. As I was leaving the class room, he added, "It is futile preaching to an empty stomach". A lesson I shall remember forever. |
ConceptFrom the Lords and the Ladies and the Sers of imaginary kingdoms, to the people who have influenced me (teachers, family members, friends, and colleagues), I try to sketch 'em all. Archives |
